Under lanseringen mellom 13.00 – 15.00 onsdag 11. mars kommer skaperne til å stå ved startpunktet på fisketorget (se etter de med gule sydvester).
"Bye Bye Bryggen" er en interaktiv lydvandring som vekker klimaforskningen til live. Med Bergens ikoniske Bryggen som bakteppe inviterer vi deg til å utforske hvordan klimaendringene kan forandre byen dramatisk innen 2100.
Om Bye Bye Bryggen
Året er 2072, og den verste stormen på 200 år er i ferd med å treffe Bergen, på vestkysten av Norge. I Bergen blir en families fremtid for alltid endret idet stormvarselet går. Mens stormen raser, haster familien for å redde familiebutikken på Bryggen. Det som skjer videre er resultatet av mange tiår med beslutninger: jobbet vi sammen, eller ble konfliktlinjene enda dypere? Det er opp til deg å avgjøre.
Hva er en lydvandring
I en lydvandring er smarttelefonen din både forteller og guide. Ved hjelp av GPS beveger historien seg fremover etter hvert som du går fra sted til sted. Last ned appen på mobilen din (både Android og iOS støttes).
Resten av festivalperioden kan du også dra på en selvguidet tur . Du kan når som helst ta lydvandringen. Posisjonen din registreres, og gjennom fortellingen får man instrukser om å bevege seg, ta på ting og reflektere over omgivelsene man står i.

Bye Bye Bryggen is an interactive soundwalk that brings climate research to life. With Bergen’s iconic Bryggen as the backdrop, we invite you to explore how climate change may dramatically transform the city by the year 2100.
Climate change forces us, as a society, to make many difficult choices, and through storytelling, we can make these dilemmas visible. What is worth protecting – and at what cost? What consequences will today’s decisions have for people and the environment in the future?
What do you need to enjoy the soundwalk?
A mobile phone with enough battery (the soundwalk takes around 50 minutes)
Headphones (we have a limited number available to lend at the launch)

About Bye Bye Bryggen
The year is 2072, and the worst storm in 200 years is about to hit the west coast of Norway. In Bergen, a family’s future is changed forever the moment the storm sirens sound. As the storm rages, the family rushes to save their family shop on Bryggen. What happens next is the result of many decades of decisions: did we work together, or did the lines of conflict grow even deeper? It’s up to you to decide.
Bye Bye Bryggen is a collaboration between Centre for Climate and Energy Transformation, UiB, Umami Produktion, and Lund University.
What is a soundwalk?
The soundwalk is available through an app on your mobile phone. You can take the audio walk at any time. The listener’s position is registered, and throughout the story, you receive instructions to move, touch things, and reflect on the surroundings you are standing in.
