The Bergen Facilitation Collective invites you to digest what you have experienced during the festival in order to make sure that it can integrate and carry forward. Conversations, ideas, feelings, and new ways of seeing — if we don’t capture them, they can fade.
We will bring questions and formats to support you to reflect on your own as well as with other participants. This is the space for you to pause and sense what has changed for you. To listen to what other people have experienced and to sense how that relates to you. To observe the connections between all these different learnings. Together, we will start seeing the festival as a whole and ask: What has been left unsaid? What has been left out? That way, by understanding what has changed below the surface, we build a bridge to what comes next — whether that’s taking action, co-creating, exploring more deeply, or simply resting.
You are welcome as you are. No prior preparation is needed. The Sensemaking Circle will be held at the ground floor at Østre where you are also invited to explore more interactive activities on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
About the concept:
At this years festival, Bergen Facilitation Collective invite you to explore what is happening in the in-between-spaces at the festival: in between people, sessions, topics and places. We have dedicated the ground floor of Østre to this series of activities, that are designed to support you to pause, sense, reflect, play, and learn - both on your own and alongside fellow festival goers. The Bergen Facilitation Collective is a local community of practice (CoP) that nurtures collaboration and fosters innovation through the art of facilitation.
